F1 | Williams, Paddy Lowe appointed shareholder and technical director
Claire Williams is happy with the choice: "We can go back to being one of the top teams on the grid. We want to win races and championships"
Official: the Williams has appointed official Paddy lowe technical director of the team and shareholder – having purchased shares of the company.
The former engineer of Mercedes e McLaren arrives at Whole grained and will be operational from today. Lowe will also join the board of directors having purchased a stake in the company: “I have always had a deep respect for Williams, my first F1 team. It is a great honor to return to this team in such an important role. I am extremely motivated and want to do my part to bring the team back to success." commented.

Not just a role direction for Lowe, but also that of shareholder: “The vision for the future set out by the Williams board is fantastic and has led me to join an organization aimed at building a strong bond to return to the top of Formula 1 once again.”, he said commenting on his choice.
Claire Williams, Vice President and Deputy Team Principal of Williams explained on the team's official website: “I am really happy and excited to have Paddy Lowe join the team as Chief Technical Officer.
