F1 | Williams, Massa transported to hospital at the end of free practice
Official team communication before free practice 3
Sensational indiscretion launched by "O'Globo" today: at the end of yesterday afternoon's free practice, Felipe Massa was reportedly taken to hospital due to illness. The Brazilian reportedly felt dizzy and had a strong fever. Massa, we remember, was already in the Budapest hospital eight years ago, when a spring from Rubens Barrichello's Brawn GP hit him full in the face. At 10.00 there will be an official communication from Williams regarding the participation of the Brazilian in qualifying and the race. In the event of a "forfeit", Paul Di Resta would be the ideal candidate for the second seat of the Grove team.
UPDATE: With a statement published on its website, Williams has confirmed that Felipe Massa will take to the track in the remaining sessions of the Hungarian Grand Prix. Further checks will be carried out after FP3.
