F1 | Williams, Massa: “Stroll has great potential”

In an interview with Autosport, Felipe Massa commented on Lance Stroll's promotion to Williams for next season, underlining how the Canadian, despite the many rumors from fans, is a talent to follow very carefully. According to Massa, in fact, the choice to bring the nineteen-year-old Formula 3 champion is not at all crazy, but rather a bet with which the Grove team will try to regain the top positions in the constructors' championship.

“I've known Lance since he was a child” commented the Brazilian. “I saw him at some races when I was at Ferrari, his dad was a very important customer of the brand and I wish him the best. I've never seen him race but I think he's grown up and learned a lot. He has shown some good performances and had the opportunity to be here thanks to his father, but he arrives with a title in hand and that's what counts. What happens in his future, in his career, will come from his talent and what he achieves on the track."
