F1 | Williams confirms line-up for Barcelona tests
Massa will debut the FW40
Williams has confirmed that Felipe Massa will take the new FW40 on track for the first time in the upcoming pre-season tests on the Barcelona track. The Brazilian, an experienced man within the Grove team, will carry out the first development work on the new single-seater, completing the first laps with the new aerodynamic configuration introduced this year. Massa and Stroll will alternate during the four days as the Canadian talent will take over the wheel during the second day and the fourth day.
Massa will return to the track on March 1st, the third day of testing in Barcelona.
Different story for the second session: Massa and Stroll will carry out continuous work and therefore the former will take charge of the car during the last days while the reigning European Formula 3 champion will carry out his work during the first two days.
