F1 | Williams, good twelfth place for Russell: "Nice to fight with the others"

In the general chaos mainly due to the accident between the Ferraris of Vettel and Leclerc, Williams also had some moments of glory, and Russell managed to finish the race in twelfth position, passing some opponents in the final. Kubica remained further behind, all also due to a problem that arose with his Hard tyres, which were clearly not appropriate for this race as also demonstrated by Bottas and Leclerc.

“It was a really crazy race in the last laps, and that gave us half a chance – Russell said. I gave my all to take advantage of that situation and overtake a few cars here and there, but we couldn't do more. However, it was nice to be in the big group and fight in the final stages of the race."

“The first lap of the race went well, I was able to fight with some faster cars in the first stint – Kubica admitted. After that I lost my rhythm, especially with the Hards. We had to manage the rear tires, but for this reason we were not able to take advantage of the front ones, making them cold and without any grip."
