"Ferrari wants to field one of its young talents"
The German driver stated that there is little chance of seeing him back behind the wheel of the Swiss car in 2018.
In fact, for next year there are two important players to line up on the starting grid, namely, Antonio Giovinazzi e Charles Leclerc. It is likely that one of the two could take over pascal wehrlein at Sauber, who, although he is a junior Mercedes driver, will not have a place in the official team, at least not for next year.
“I don't think I'll get a job at Sauber -commented the German during the Belgian Grand Prix- it seems that Ferrari will field one of its young talents".
The Belgian weekend was difficult for Wehrlein, forced to retire due to a suspension problem:
“Unfortunately I had to withdraw from the race, now I'm focused on the next race and I hope to have another opportunity to get a good result in Monza”.
