F1 | Weber: “I hope to see David and Mick Schumacher in Formula 1”
"Ralf and I often talk on the phone," added the former manager
In a chat given to the Kolner Express newspaper, Wili Weber spoke about the two brothers' commitment to Formula 1 Schumacher, David and Mick, underlining how the hope is to see them competing on the track soon, perhaps in F1.
David Schumacher, we remember, is followed closely by his father Ralf, who is doing his utmost to "protect" his son from the obvious media attention of this period.
“Ralf and I often talk on the phone,” said Wili Weber. “He closed down Michael's old karting team and moved into his house in Hallwang with David. He is fully focused on racing in Formula E and on his son's career”.
On a possible challenge in Formula 1 between David and Mick he added: “It would be great to see them both fight and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that. I would be really happy to see them on track. I miss motorsport and the taste of close battles on the track."
