F1 | Vettel on the difficult qualifying at Spa: "It's not the first time this has happened this year"
“We are trying to find options with the set-up to achieve something different,” German saidGerman said
What has happened so far is certainly a terribly negative weekend for Ferrari. In fact, among the ups and downs of Wallonia, the Red team revealed obvious technical deficits as demonstrated by the elimination suffered by both SF1000s in the second qualifying heat.
The situation in which the Cavallino is navigating, despite the unknown rain which during the race could subvert the forces on the track, should recur again today. In this regard, Sebastian Vettel is not at all surprised by the performances at Spa: “Clearly we're not in the position we want, but it's not the first time this has happened this year – admitted the Cavallino standard-bearer. We're trying to find options with the setup to get something different and I'm sure tomorrow (today, ed.) it will be a little better".
The German then, speaking about the possibility of a wet GP, added: “We have already seen these conditions in Austria and Hungary. It wouldn't be easier for us, but there is always the possibility of mixing things up and we'll see what we can achieve".
