F1 | Vettel on his future: “Any decision will be exciting”

Sebastian Vettel is still hungry. In fact, in the interview given to Marti Brundle for Sky Sports UK, the German underlined his desire to continue competing. The future of the four-time world champion, who will leave Ferrari at the end of 2020, is still an unknown even if the Aston Martin hypothesis for 2021 has taken shape in recent days.

If Vettel were to move to the Silverstone team, Sergio Perez should make room for him, with the Mexican who could join Haas or Alfa Romeo.

"It's exciting how one door closes and another can open – declared Vettel, speaking of the end of his adventure in Ferrari -. Although, honestly, I don't know what this door will be yet. Who knows, it could be about staying in Formula One. It could be something else. It could be a momentary goodbye or forever. The German then added: “Also during this time I discovered that I love competition. Obviously I would have hoped there were more races. I'm not here just to participate or as a matter of alone, I want to continue to achieve something. This will guide my decision".

Then speaking about the Aston Martin project he said: “From the outside it looks exciting".
