"It was the worst moment of the season"
The pilot of the Ferrari admitted that the episode of Baku (contact with Lewis Hamilton), was the worst moment of the 2017 season.
The German took full responsibility for losing his composure and deliberately hitting Hamilton under the Safety Car.
“The worst moment was Baku. I ruined the race by doing something that wasn't necessary. Even in Singapore and Japan it didn't go well but it was different because you can't control something that doesn't depend on you".
Seb also added that Hamilton deserved his fourth world championship:
“There is no doubt about his speed and ability. He is fast and makes few mistakes”.
Vettel has learned a lot this season and hopes that from now on there will be no more episodes of that type:
“Now I think differently and I hope this allows me to do better”.
