F1 | Vettel hit by Stroll on lap of honor, rear destroyed (VIDEO)

What happened on the lap of honor of the Malaysian Grand Prix was incredible: after the checkered flag which decreed the victory of Max Verstappen, followed by Hamilton and Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel in fourth position was hit by Lance Stroll to the left rear wheel when cornering, thus destroying the suspension and part of the rear of the car.

The German, in fact, lost a tire after the accident and had to park his Ferrari SF70H asking for an emergency lift from Pascal Wehrlein who accompanied him to the pits in his Sauber. Vettel commented on the crash on a team radio addressed to the team and also after the race: "He didn't see me, I had passed on the outside of him, what happened?".

After a series of analyzes of the videos reported on the accident, it is not possible to clearly understand who made the mistake: Vettel goes outside and closes the corner, Stroll slightly widens the trajectory to the right where the German is. After placing the incident under investigation it was decided not to give any further penalties.
