F1 | Verstappen: “I'll explain how to overtake and win in Formula 1”

A few days after his second career victory obtained in Malaysian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen he knows his path in formula 1 he is growing more and more, and although at times his driving can be considered too aggressive and harsh, the results with the Red Bull are starting to arrive little by little, also thanks to a clear evolution of the car itself which is giving a hard time to Ferrari e Mercedes in the last few races.

Many consider Max a true talent of F1 and a future world champion. The Dutchman knows that there is a lot of pressure around him but he is convinced of his driving style to conquer many successes: “I don't get angry often, I think. Especially because when you've been driving for a long time – and I started when I was 4 years old – you know what to do on every occasion. When the lights go out there is some small fear, because you want to make a good start, but in any case it is not comparable to when you are little, because everything seemed new and very difficult,” explained Verstappen.

I spent 3 days on the simulator because from Toro Rosso to Red Bull everything changed, such as the steering wheel and its use. I didn't feel pressure, I just had to finish the race. Winning was something unexpected and the accident in Mercedes definitely helped me, but I felt good in the car and the engineers helped me a lot,” he continued.

Then the Dutchman explained what doing means for him overtaking: “For me it's all about sensations and emotions. It's a bit difficult to explain but you know when you can or can't do it, when you can do it you have to plan and think about it, but it's something that comes naturally. My father helped me a lot,” explained Verstappen.
