In a chat given to Auto Motor Und Sport, Max Verstappen spoke about the performances shown by Ferrari in the first pre-season test session in Barcelona, underlining how the competitiveness displayed by the SF1000 has generated many doubts within the paddock.
According to the Dutchman, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc's new single-seater presents problems related to setting and balance, an aspect that has not allowed the drivers to complete a first race simulation. A "complicated" situation that could help the Austrian team, at least in the first GP of the season in Australia.
“Ferrari? He seems to have some problems." declared the Dutchman at the end of the three-day test in Spain. “He hasn't faced a race simulation yet and for this reason they are difficult to evaluate. In any case, we'll see you in front of them."
On the work program carried out by Red Bull he added: “What have we been working on? For us, reliability was the priority. The package seems more cohesive, as the front and rear have grown. Of course there is always room for further improvement.”
