F1 | Vasseur: “Vandoorne is a champion of the future”

It won't be three difficult races that will ruin the future of Stoffel vandoorne in Formula 1. This is the thought of the former Renault boss Frederic Vasseur.

The Frenchman has worked with several GP2 champions and recognized in the Belgian that great talent that only Formula 1 champions possess.

“We can't say anything after the first three grands prix – he told the Belgian broadcaster RTBF – I'm convinced that Stoffel is a great champion of the future and two difficult races won't change what I think”.

Vasseur could not help but recognize the great talent of Vandoorne: “I am convinced that he is one of the most brilliant drivers of recent years, I just have to overcome this difficult period and maintain a positive and constructive attitude towards the team”.
