The Belgian driver admitted that he could continue his racing career outside of Formula 1. After a promising junior career, Stoffel vandoorne he lost his place at McLaren after two seasons and there are currently no options for next season.
“Staying in Formula 1 is still possible but the opportunities are very, very, small. The rider market has changed a lot in recent weeks but nothing has been decided yet. We are also looking outside of F1 and hope to have some news soon. There are many championships where the level is very high and where there are many people who still believe in my talent. I'm the same rider as before, capable of winning races and championships. I am convinced that in another environment, I can do it again".
