F1 | Official: McLaren and Honda will part ways at the end of the year
The two parties have mutually decided to terminate the collaboration

The official announcement has arrived: after three rather difficult years of collaboration, the two manufacturers have decided to end their partnership at the end of the season.
The return of Honda in formula 1 in 2015 it was quite disastrous with numerous reliability and performance problems which brought the collaboration with McLaren to a head. As reported by Motorsport.com, the separation was consensual between the two manufacturers and it seems that Renault has signed a three-year contract with McLaren.
This new collaboration could convince Fernando Alonso to remain in the English team for other seasons.
