F1 | Official: Daniil Kvyat new development driver for Ferrari
The announcement from the Maranello team: the 23-year-old Russian will take care of the development of the 2018 car
With a short statement via social media, the Scuderia Ferrari announced the signing of Daniil Kvyat like development drivers. For some months there had been rumors of a possible landing of the 23-year-old Russian in Maranello, following his tumultuous farewell with the Toro Rosso, who dumped him last September to make room for Pierre Gasly: the simple indiscretion, a few minutes ago, turned into reality.
Kvyat will be responsible for the development of the 2018 car, through intense simulator work and constant comparison with Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and the Cavallino technicians.
