F1 | Tost happy about the breakup between McLaren and Honda

The boss of Toro Rosso he admitted that he was particularly pleased that the collaboration between the English team and the Japanese manufacturer did not work.

From next year, too Red Bull will have Honda power units:

“Our collaboration with Honda is fantastic -he has declared Franz tost- it is a serious company and has improved a lot compared to last year”.

According to Tost, Red Bull will be able to compete for victory next year:

"Winning races with our structure is difficult, Red Bull has three times more staff than us, everything is on another level, but Honda is a very successful company that wants to win races. In Canada we had an update that gave us three tenths, we will have another one in America; in 2019 there will be even more, I am convinced that the engine will be very competitive".

Many derided the decision Red Bull to lean on Honda, after that McLaren failed for three years with the Japanese manufacturer:
