F1 | Toro Rosso, a ride in Monaco with Daniil Kvyat [VIDEO]

You say Monaco and you immediately think of an incredibly glamorous, elegant and romantic place. But if you try to mention it in front of an F1 driver, the adjectives become very different: tight, demanding... tough. This weekend, between walls and manholes, Formula 1 faces one of the most difficult events of the World Championship. The Monaco Grand Prix will practically be like a second home race for Daniil Kvyat: our Russian driver lives in Monte Carlo, not far from the track, and knows this track perfectly, as do other drivers who have chosen the Principality as their residence . Daniil, in this 360 video, takes us for a tour around the narrow Monegasque circuit and reveals the secrets of the 19 corners that characterize his layout.

This will be the shortest race of the World Championship, but also one of the most challenging. 78 times the drivers will tackle the circuit for a total race distance of 260 kilometres, instead of the canonical 300 that are generally exceeded in all the other events of the world championship. The slippery and undulating asphalt will take away a lot of grip from the cars which, to compensate, will run with the maximum aerodynamic load available and with the softest compound tires in the range supplied by Pirelli. Keeping concentration high will be the biggest challenge for the riders, because here even the slightest distraction can lead to a retirement. Monaco is a challenge with oneself, even before that with the other drivers on the track.
