F1 | Toro Rosso expects difficulties in the next races

The Italian team has declared that for the grand prix of Hot Tub e Monza he expects some problems, starting with the lack of potential.

After a difficult 2016 season with the power unit Ferrari, Toro Rosso this is why he chose the world championship Renault as a supplier, but things have not improved. Regarding the second part of the championship, the team principal of the Italian team, Franz tost predicted that there will be significant difficulties in some stages of the calendar:

“Our car works well in medium speed corners, where the priority is not the engine like Canada, Austria, Baku and Silverstone - he declared to Motorsport– I think we will also be competitive in Singapore, America and Japan. The difficulties, however, will be in Spa and Monza, where there are long straights, a point where we have always struggled".

Tost added that he is happy with the progress made so far, given that they don't have the financial resources of the top teams:

“We have made some updates but we don't have the budget of the top teams, we have to calculate what to do and how to do it. All in all, we did a good job.".
