F1 | Toro Rosso, Sainz: “Racing at home is special”

This week the circus of formula 1 will move to Barcelona, where the grand prix will take place on Sunday which represents something special for the home riders, such as Sainz.In the statements released for the official website of the Italian team, the Spaniard admitted that the home GP, if on the one hand it is the most important of all, on the other hand it is also the most demanding, as there is much more pressure : “The weekend will be busier than normal but I'll do everything with a smile on my face, because I know I'm a lucky guy”.

For Carlos, the Spanish Grand Prix is ​​not only important for the atmosphere but also for the fact that he achieved his best career results here: “There is a lot of motivation and I hope to continue in this direction, hoping to be able to add another good memory to the list”.

The situation will be different for Daniil Kvyat, who will have less attention on himself, since it is his teammate's home grand prix. As for the race, he is confident given the progress in the tests:

“It's a track that we know very well, there are many types of corners and each section has a different structure. We have no surprises here! My favorite curves are three and nine; I really like the track and thanks to the tests I managed to gather a lot of information which I hope will be useful for the weekend".
