F1 | Toro Rosso, James Key: “Difficult morning, but we work hard”
"The engineers did well and managed to find interesting data"
“We had a fairly productive morning and were able to get quite a bit of work done, in more normal conditions than last week. Pierre Gasly he was happier with the car, we made a lot of changes to the setup compared to what we did last week,” he began immediately James key after the first day of the second week of testing a Barcelona.
The technical director of Toro Rosso commented on the return to Montmelò and the sensations of driving with the Honda engine: “The engineers did well and managed to find interesting data. We also worked a bit on aerodynamics, taking further measurements and then moving on to chassis setup tests and investigations into tire performance in warmer conditions. Unfortunately, this afternoon we suffered a problem with the braking system on the side of the chassis which was difficult to track down and took a long time. However we will work overnight to ensure we are ready for tomorrow. We apologize to the riders and Honda for missing a good opportunity, we still have three days,” commented James Key.
