As usual, the day of racing opened with the Pro Exhibition Race reserved for sim drivers which offered a splendid show.

Qualifying David Tonizza achieved an amazing pole position for the FDA Hublot Esports Team, taking the leadAlfa Romeo by Jarno Opmeer by almost a tenth, while Enzo Bonito he managed to grab fourth place despite a small mistake on his flying lap.

In the race the reigning world champion fought with Opmeer in the first three corners but managed to hold first position ahead of the Dutchman and the Racing Point driver, Lucas Blakeley. On the third lap the FDA Hublot Esports Team driver returned to the garage to change tires and rejoined traffic.

This allowed Blakeley and Opmeer to make a perfect undercut. The last ten laps saw the three constantly battling with several position changes favored by the strong slipstream effect in the third sector of the Baku track.

In the final, Opmeer managed to get the better of the sprint, ahead of Blakeley by a whisker Tone, while Enzo Bonito came in a good fourth.
