F1 Test | Ferrari, the point on Sebastian Vettel's accident and the hypothesis of the broken rim [VIDEO]

During today's edition of Sky Sport 24, Mara Sangiorgio took stock of the situation regarding the accident suffered by Sebastian Vettel yesterday, underlining how the change of program promoted by Ferrari in today's session derives mainly from what happened on day 5.

The red team, in fact, chose to send only Charles Leclerc on track today, therefore granting him additional kilometers after the just 40 laps completed between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Accident chapter: according to what was reported inside the paddock, the German's crash would have been caused by debris that ended up inside the rim, an aspect that would have led to the breaking of the same and therefore to the impact against the external barriers of turn 3 ( almost 20 g of strength.ed.). Clearly Ferrari has not yet reported an official version, so we will have to wait for further information before taking this info for certain. We will certainly know more in the next few hours.
