F1 | Stroll pinches Williams: "We're too slow and it's always the same story in every race"
“Unfortunately we are underperforming,” he added
In an interview given at the end of the last Austrian Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2018 Formula One world championship, Lance Stroll spoke about the lack of competitiveness of the FW41, underlining how the single-seater did not show any improvements with the new aerodynamic package presented in Canada.
According to the Canadian, in fact, driving the FW41 continues to be extremely difficult and this severely penalizes the drivers' performances, especially in the race. A complex and poorly managed situation that will almost certainly not be resolved at Silverstone.
Here are the words of Lance Stroll: “Unfortunately we don't have the performance with this car and it's always the same story in every race. We are too slow. It's as if I were driving with 25/30 horsepower and I can't do anything about it."
