F1 | Steiner on Alonso: “He's famous for always crying”

The tension between the Asturian driver and Kevin Magnussen during the Silverstone grand prix it had already started during free practice and culminated in the race today.

Fernando Alonso accused Kevin Magnussen of sending him off the track, complete with team radio at the McLaren and complaining that the Danish driver was not given any penalties.

After these statements, the team principal of Haas, Gunther steiner he didn't send them to tell the Spaniard:

“Alonso cried a bit but then again he's known for that. As a driver, nothing to say, he's fantastic but it's better to overtake while driving than to overtake and cry".

However, there was also contact between the Haas drivers for which Romain Grosjean took responsibility, apologizing to Kevin Magnussen. This episode, however, did not please the Haas team principal:

“I'm not happy, these are things that can happen but shouldn't happen. We have to stop losing points. You can't control what happens at the start of the race, it's up to the driver. Surely Romain didn't do it deliberately, why would he? But it's something that happened and drivers need to improve so this doesn't happen again. But the team can't do anything about it.".
