F1 | Statistics, only two drivers have won the first two races of the season in the last decade

To date, in the last decade, only two drivers have managed to triumph in the first two seasonal rounds of the Formula One World Championship. We are talking about Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg.

Vettel, at the time with Red Bull, won the first two rounds of 2011, winning the races in Melbourne (Australian GP) and Sepang (Malaysian GP); while Rosberg affirmed his supremacy in 2016 again at Albert Park and Sakhir (Bahrain GP).

In both cases, both drivers became world champions at the end of their respective seasons, with the German from Mercedes making a somewhat surprising decision to hang up his helmet a few days after the end of the 2016 championship.

After opening 2018 with the Australian triumph achieved two weeks ago aboard the SF71-H, Vettel will try to increase this particular ranking in his favor... also seeing the epilogue of the seasons mentioned above.
