F1 | Statistics, Alfa Romeo's numbers in Formula One

The new season, which will officially open its doors in Melbourne on March 25th for the Australian Grand Prix on the Albert Park track, marks the return to Formula One, after more than thirty years, of a historic brand like Alfa Romeo in partnership with Sauber.

Despite mixed fortunes, the house of Biscione has written an important page in the history of the Circus. In fact, the Arese team was the first to win the drivers' title with Nino Farina in the historic 1950 world championship, repeating the championship obtained by the Turin driver the following year with the Argentine ace Juan Manuel Fangio.

In addition to the two world titles with Farina and Fangio, Alfa Romeo boasts 10 victories in the top class (obtained in 110 GPs), with the last podium conquered by Riccardo Patrese in the Italian Grand Prix held on the Monza track on 9 September 1984.
