F1 | Haas disqualified in Monza, the appeal will be discussed on November 1st in Paris

Haas and Renault, two teams fighting for fourth place in the constructors' championship and competing with no holds barred. This was demonstrated by the French team's complaint against Romain Grosjean after the checkered flag of the Italian Grand Prix: Renault in fact highlighted how the surface on the Frenchman's car was irregular. Nothing new for Haas, given that the FIA had already highlighted this part to the American team before the Hungarian Grand Prix and therefore the break. Guenther Stenier's team had requested an exemption to use this component up to Monza, but Renault's complaint put the FIA in the position of having to disqualify Grosjean after sixth place in the Italian Grand Prix.

Haas immediately appealed, and everything will be discussed in Paris on November 1st, after the Mexican Grand Prix. It's a very important issue for the constructors' championship, since they are dancing 8 points to be added possibly to those already accumulated by Haas, but not only: with that disqualification Sainz thus moved up to eighth position, adding two more points to Renault.
