In the second week of testing in Barcelona, ​​Mercedes brought a revolutionized car compared to the W10 seen in the first four days. For many (we don't know on what basis) the Anglo/German team would have been half a second behind Ferrari. An important gap but one which, for the writer, at least leaves the time he finds. In the last days of testing, also thanks to the absence of the FOM cameras, which were present in the first week, Mercedes brought a B version of the W10, completely changed in every aerodynamic aspect. Here too there were many rumors, some of which wanted the Stella team to implement these changes to try to get closer to Ferrari before the start of the championship.

“Ferrari actually looked very good in Barcelona, ​​that's a fact – said Sergio Perez, Racing Point driver Trademarks. But I think Mercedes didn't reveal all its cards, it seemed strange to me that they brought two different cars to the tests. It's possible that they designed two cars for different types of circuits. We see a lot of strange things in Formula 1."
