F1 | Seidl: “Renault doesn't have party mode”

McLaren's new team principal, Andreas Seidl, has denied the rumors about the alleged "party mode" used by Renault. After the Silverstone race, Carlos Sainz admitted that he was surprised to see the speed achieved by Daniel Ricciardo, even though theoretically, both teams have the same engine.

Seidl, however, denied that there is unequal treatment:

“Party fashion? Not at all! If we look at the data, it depends on the settings used by Renault. We have full faith in the transparency between us and the rules are very clear, manufacturers and customers should always receive the same in terms of equipment, engine maps and things of that nature.".
