F1 | Sebastian Vettel is the “Driver of the Day” of the GP in Suzuka
The German finished the Japanese Grand Prix in sixth position
Sebastian Vettel was elected the "Driver of the Day" of the latest Japanese Grand Prix, the 18th round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship.
Despite a contact at the start which made him slip from ninth to last position, the German guessed the moment in which to make the transition from full-wet to intermediate, climbing up to a brilliant sixth place. An important placing, achieved on a "friendly" track, which repays the four-time world champion and the team for the work carried out over the weekend.
A fitting end to his last race at Suzuka 🇯🇵
