F1 | Schumacher: family launches "Keep Fighting" charity initiative

Michael Schumacher's family has launched a non-profit initiative called “Keep Fighting”. Presented with a press release together with a new account Twitter and to a new one place, the initiative aims to spread the positive energy released by the German's fans after his serious skiing injury in December 2013. The German is still in difficult conditions but the family has not provided any updates for several months.

“Keep Fighting hopes to bring together all the people inspired by Michael Schumacher to believe to keep fighting and never give up,” the statement reads. “Michael Schumacher is considered by many to be the best driver ever in Formula 1. His successes on the track are undoubtedly unique, but so are those off the track. His willpower, his loyalty to those around him, his tenacity towards his goals and his willingness to help others have been an inspiration to many people around the world for many years. The Schumacher family and #TeamMichael invite you to join the Keep Fighting community and welcome you to this initiative."

Initiatives include a Michael Schumacher exhibition in Marburg, the Champions for Charity football match and the exhibition of Michael Schumacher's private collection at Motorworld in Cologne.
