F1 | Sauber, Wehrlein on Formula E: “Interesting category, but I prefer Formula One”

Pascal Wehrlein did not enthusiastically welcome a possible move to Formula E. The Sauber talent, pressured by Charles Leclerc and Antonio Giovinazzi for a seat in 2018, is apparently evaluating alternatives to the Circus, among which Formula E would also appear.

With the DTM removed due to Mercedes' farewell, Alejandro Agag's series would be a valid alternative to Formula One, especially due to the presence of the German team. Wehhrlein, however, did not say he was enthusiastic about this opportunity, explaining that the charm of Formula One is something unattainable for other series.

Here are the words of Pascal Wehrlein: “It's an interesting category, especially for technological development, but I love the noise and performance of a Formula One. I honestly don't see myself in a category like that."
