F1 | Sauber, Wehrlein: “I can't be satisfied with my race”

Skinny booty for the Clean in Japan: 15th (and last) place for pascal wehrlein, retiring after only seven laps for Marcus Ericsson. “I can't be satisfied with today's race” – begins an embittered man Wehrlein. “From the beginning of the race I had problems with the balancing of the car. Under normal circumstances, I would have been able to push harder. Now we are analyzing the data to find the causes of our problems. Overall, it was a disappointing race.".

The crash in turn 9, however, cost ad Ericsson the fifth seasonal training camp: “It was a disappointing result” – admits the Swedish driver. “The first phase of the race was quite good, I managed to immediately gain some positions. Finally, too Frederic Vasseur, Sauber team principal, expressed his disappointment at the lackluster performance at Suzuka: “It's been a tough ride for us. Marcus had a decent pace at the start, but then he ran wide in Turn 8 and hit the barriers in Turn 9. As for Pascal, it seems there was contact with another car on the first lap, so we need to analyze the extent to which your car was damaged. However, now we have to think about the next race in the United States.".
