Despite Maurizio Arrivabene's reassurances, Mika Salo believes that Ferrari will continue to consider Kimi Raikkonen a normal "follower" to Sebastian Vettel. According to the Finn, in fact, the former Red Bull has a great chance of winning the title, especially after Lewis Hamilton's misstep in Monaco, and Ferrari will do their utmost to put him in the best possible conditions.
Here are Salo's words: “Ferrari considers Raikkonen a normal number two driver. Sebastian Vettel has a great chance of winning the title and Ferrari will do their utmost to put him in the best possible condition. Kimi is a very talented rider and certainly deserves more chances, but in the world championship he is slightly further behind than Seb and therefore the situation is quite clear. Kimi will believe it until mathematics proves him wrong, but I'm sure we'll see team orders at the end of the season."
