The former Formula 1 driver admitted that he was particularly worried by the latest performances of his compatriot, Valtteri Bottas.
The Finn, after a disappointing 2018, returned aggressively, obtaining two victories but recently, he has fallen back behind Lewis Hamilton and now his gap in the world rankings is 29 points.
“He wasn't fast enough, he couldn't overtake the slower cars and his pace was never good, it even looked like he wanted to save his tyres. He has already suffered two consecutive defeats by Hamilton, in Monaco and in Canada, the gap in the championship is starting to increase so I think he has to start driving at the limit."
