F1 | Sainz convinced of the choice made: "Ferrari is capable of changing things quickly"

Carlos Sainz is certain that he has not made any wrong choices having accepted Ferrari's court. It's true that on paper the move from McLaren to the Cavallino team might seem like a step backwards, given the results achieved in the last season where the Red team even finished the Drivers' World Championship in sixth place, but the Spaniard is certain that Maranello is a capable team to get back on top and recover the technical gap that currently separates it from the competition.

"It's a bit annoying because everyone was insinuating that Ferrari could do so badly in 2021, but in Formula 1 you never know – said Sainz, interviewed by Autosport – Obviously he took a step back in 2020, they admitted it and were self-critical. (...) I have always said that if there is a team capable of changing things quickly in Formula 1 for me it is Ferrari".
