F1 | Ross Brawn on the Monaco GP: “Ferrari can win in the Principality”

Ross Brawn, appointed by Liberty Media as sporting director of the new Formula One course, believes that Ferrari will return to play a leading role in the Monaco Grand Prix, which will be staged this weekend in the streets of Monte Carlo, after the difficulties revealed in the Montmelò race.

"I expect a competitive Ferrari in Monaco, as well as Red Bull, but the latter not enough to fight for pole or victory,” Brawn emphasized.

Speaking about the Spanish GP, the former technical director of the Cavallino added: “For the first time this season Ferrari showed a decline in performance. In the previous four events, the Italian team was always fighting for pole and victory, proving to be the best single-seater on the track. Mercedes, on the other hand, dominated in Spain, with Hamilton uncatchable in the race".
