F1 | Rosberg on the Formula 1 – Formula E comparison: “It could lead to a merger”

When asked by the Washington Post about the challenge between Formula 1 and Formula E, Nico Rosberg underlined that a possible merger in the future should not be ruled out, highlighting how both categories are managed by a single owner, namely John Malone.

The Circus managed by Liberty Media, in fact, could make great strides towards electric in the space of a few years, a factor that would significantly bring the objectives regarding the growth of both series closer.

Here are the words of Nico Rosberg: “The step towards electric will be long and complex for Formula 1. Perhaps we will never reach the point where the 'green' category extinguishes the Circus, but I think a possible merger in the future is more likely. One of the points in favor of this solution is that both have the same owner, namely John Malone."
