F1 | Rosberg: “I'm curious to see Bottas”

2017 will give us a great battle in Mercedes. The world champion is convinced of this Nico Rosberg, curious to see his replacement in action, Valtteri Bottas.

“I hoped that the team would quickly find a perfect successor for me. Valtteri is fast and reliable – the driver told Bild – and now he has the best car in Formula 1, so I hope he will have fun”.

The German, now definitively away from racing, said he was happy with his team's choice but also curious to find out how the fight between the two new teammates will unfold.

The clash with Lewis Hamilton will in fact be one of the main sources of interest for the 2017 season. Will the two immediately come into conflict? Will two such strong personalities be able to coexist?

“It will definitely be an interesting battle – admitted the world champion – I'm curious to see what Bottas will do and how he will behave with Lewis”.
