F1 | Rosberg: “Hamilton can match Schumacher and become the best of all time”

The prospect of equaling the number of world titles and victories of a Formula 1 legend like Michael Schumacher will push Lewis Hamilton to raise the bar even further. This is the thought of his former teammate Nico Rosberg who, interviewed by the German newspaper Car picture, congratulated “The Hammer” on winning his fifth world title: “Lewis deserves a lot this year because Ferrari had the best car during the season. Now he can really look at what Michael (Schumacher, ed.) has achieved: he still has two years left on his contract and Schumi only has two titles and twenty more victories, so there is a possibility for him to statistically become the best of all time. I'm sure this will motivate him more".

Michael Schumacher, at the moment, is the best driver of all time, statistics in hand, with seven world titles and 91 victories in Formula 1. Hamilton, however, keeps him close: the Englishman, in fact, is twenty successes away from the “Keiser”, with two fewer World Cups under its belt.
