F1 | Rosberg: “Hamilton doesn't make mistakes. Vettel wasn't consistent."

In an interview given to the program  Beyond the Grid on the official Formula 1 website, Nico Rosberg he talked about many things, starting from his farewell to racing and his relationship with Hamilton in Mercedes. In particular, the former Silver Arrows driver focused on this year's World Championship, which saw Sebastian Vettel at a certain point in the season he was even favored for the final victory.

After a highly competitive first half of the season, Ferrari and Vettel however collected a series of less than exciting results which compromised Seb's fight for the World Championship, also due to some errors on the track. “Continuity of results is the most important thing. Vettel seems to have missed it, as if he and the team have been confused in recent months. After the summer the championship - and this is incredible - went in only one direction", Rosberg thought.

“Halfway through the season it seemed that Vettel was the favorite for the title but instead things went exactly the opposite – declared the 2016 world champion -. This is due to the mistakes made and unfortunately it is impossible to beat Hamilton. Why Lewis doesn't make mistakes".

Errors were probably also the result of Vettel's less than cool attitude in some decisive moments: “In my opinion, Sebastian wants everything immediately, he doesn't accept when others do better. Sometimes, however, you just have to think that the other person worked better but that you will get back on track. But I'm sure he can definitely do more, he's one of the best in the world."
