F1 | Raikkonen retirement, Domenicali: “Kimi is an incredible piece of our sport”

September 1, 2021 will be remembered as Raikkonen day, the day on which Kimi officially announced his definitive retirement from the world of Formula 1 through a post published on Instagram. With the farewell of the 2007 world champion, a long era that began in 2001 and which saw Iceman present in the various changes that have marked the recent history of the Circus comes to an end.

The current CEO of the top class Stefano Domenicali expressed his point of view on Raikkonen's farewell, with whom the Finn shared the Ferrari period which culminated with the title which to date remains the last won by a Cavallino driver.
