“The start wasn't ideal: the Departure time it was quite narrow, I tried to do my best but there was a very high risk of getting involved in some contact or accident. And in the end I think it was successful just like that, but I didn't mind trying,” he explained Daniel Ricciardo on the official website of the team Red Bull telling what happened to the Departure time of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Australian, after being involved in a spin, took advantage of the SC to make a pitstop, start again from the back of the grid, until arriving in sixth place, behind his teammate Max Verstappen.

Every time I approached a car I tried to overtake it straight away, there were some good battles. And the sixth place finish is comfortable. It was nice to see the checkered flag, I know I got the most out of today,” he concluded Ricciardo quite serene for what he managed to do with his single-seater.
