F1 | Ricciardo pays homage to the “Day of the Dead” in his helmet for the Mexican Grand Prix

Daniel Ricciardo will wear a special helmet on the track in the next Mexican Grand Prix, the eighteenth round of the 2017 Formula One World Championship. To honor Mexican culture, the Australian will face the Mexico City race with a skull printed on the top of his helmet, to remember the "spectacular" festival of the dead that is celebrated in the Mexican city.

In Mexico, the Day of the Dead symbolizes the return of the deceased to earth. A real celebration of colors and joy. The Australian wanted to pay homage to this event, celebrating the great work that has taken place in recent weeks in Mexico City, especially after the earthquake that caused almost three hundred deaths.
