Despite a heavy eight-nil in qualifying against Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz is not worried about his performance in qualifying. According to the Spaniard, in fact, the difference between him and his teammate is close to two tenths, nothing unsolvable in the next rounds of the championship. The former Toro Rosso knows exactly where to intervene to reverse a trend that has been going on since the last United States Grand Prix and hopes to be able to be more effective on Saturday with some set-up changes.
Here are the words of Nico Hulkenberg: “I'm not worried about Nico's good performances (Hulkenberg. ed.). There are a couple of tenths in qualifying, but nothing unsolvable in the rest of the championship. I'm not obsessed and I certainly don't pay attention to statistics. I know my form and I know where I can improve, above all I compare it with my teammate, which is why I am extremely calm. Just find the right set-up and everything will go well."
