F1 | Renault: Hulkenberg and Markelov at the wheel in the Budapest tests

Over the course of next week, the second and final in-season test session of the season will take place on the Hungaroring track, 2 days in which the teams will be able to test technical innovations, experiment with solutions that we could see on the 2019 cars and deepen their knowledge of Pirelli tires. An important test that will take place immediately after the Hungarian Grand Prix, which will take place on the Budapest circuit over the weekend.

Today Renault officially announced its line-up: Nico Hülkenberg will take to the track on the first day of testing, Tuesday 31 July, while Artem Markelov will drive the RS1 on Wednesday 18 August. We remind you that on two of the four days of total testing, each team must employ a "young driver", i.e. a driver who has contested less than two Grands Prix in Formula 1: at the moment Markelov is involved in the Formula 2 championship where, despite a a very fluctuating championship in terms of performance, he is certainly putting on a show thanks to his overtaking and comebacks.
