F1 | Renault, Hulkenberg excited for the French GP: "I have an extra level of motivation"

After ten years of absence the French Grand Prix returns and the Renault she doesn't want to be caught unprepared for what will, in fact, be her weekend at home. Nico Hulkenberg, a few days before the Le Castellet appointment, said he was excited: “I can't wait to race at Paul Ricard” – began the German. “It's been a long time, ten years, since Renault's last home race. I'm bringing that extra level of motivation to do a good job on the track. I know how much this means to the staff members.".

Although Paul Ricard has not been part of the Formula 1 calendar since 1991, Hulkenberg has already had the opportunity to "break the ice" with the French track: "I know the circuit quite well actually, so it's not like going in totally blind. I did a few laps here while preparing for the 24 2015 Hours of Le Mans.".

The objective, as usual, is to finish the race behind the top teams: "Finishing seventh is essentially the best we can get if the first six finish the race" – commented the 30-year-old former Force India.
