F1 | Renault confirms Palmer's exit: Sainz will be the new driver of the Transalpine Scuderia

Sensational twist at Renault: at the end of the next Japanese Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz will replace Jolyon Palmer alongside Nico Hulkenberg. With an official communication released a few minutes ago on its website, the Transalpine Scuderia thanked the English driver for the work carried out in the last two seasons, wishing him the best in the continuation of his career. This brings to an end a soap opera that has been going on for weeks and which has upset this final part of the 2018 season. With the arrival of the Spaniard already from Austin, Renault hopes to close the points gap against Toro Rosso, thus achieving fifth place in the constructors' championship.
